ORV TRAIL - PUBLIC NOTICE

Permit Application No. 200203115 (IP-MN)

Department of Army has issued a Public Notice to:
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.

The applicant is the National Park Service.
The Project Purpose: To provide designated accesses to the BCNP. To implement the Recreational Off Road Vehicle (ORV) Management Plan by developing approximately 332 miles of designated, land-based, multiple-use trails capable of supporting ORV traffic as well as other trail users.
WORK: Ten year permit. Applicant proposes to discharge fill over 314 acres of wetlands to improve 216 miles of trails over six phases using one of two proposed treatment methods (rock treatment and full treatment).
